Pagers are carried by firefighters and EMT's so they can be
notified of when there is a call.
These pagers are activated by a tone that is transmitted by the
9-1-1 center and beeps or vibrates to alert the emergency
responder then a voice message.
These pagers cost around $350.00 each.
